Quotes
- Surveys and quotes are free, and carry no obligation.
- A quote stays valid for [30] days unless we tell you otherwise.

Your right to cancel
You have 14 days to cancel.
Where you agree to work at your home, or anywhere away from our business premises, you may cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days run from the day you agree to the contract. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To cancel, simply tell us by phone, email or letter using the details above.
If you want us to start within the 14 days, we will ask you to confirm that in writing. If you then cancel, you pay for the work already carried out, in proportion to the job as a whole. If the work is finished within the 14 days at your request, the right to cancel is lost.
Where you cancel, we refund anything you have paid within 14 days, less any amount due for work already done at your request.
Payment
- Terms are [e.g. 50% deposit on booking, balance on completion].
- Invoices are due within [14] days.
- Late payment may carry interest and reasonable costs, where the law allows.
Our work
- We carry out work with reasonable care and skill and within a reasonable time, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for [GUARANTEE PERIOD] from completion. The guarantee covers our workmanship. It does not cover storm or accidental damage, wear to parts of the roof we did not work on, or problems caused by alterations made by someone else.
- Where materials carry a manufacturer's guarantee, we pass it on to you.
- We are fully insured. Details are available on request.
Access, scaffolding and weather
- Please give us reasonable access on the agreed dates, and tell us about anything that affects safety — fragile areas, overhead cables, pets, alarms.
- Roofing depends on the weather. We may postpone work where it would be unsafe or would affect the quality of the finish. We will tell you as soon as we can and agree a new date.
- Where scaffolding is used, it stays up until the work is signed off. Please do not use or alter it.
If something is not right
Tell us. Ring or email using the details above and we will respond within [5] working days and arrange to inspect. Most things are sorted quickly. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Liability
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the price of the work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
